本件為明代綠松石彎枕，選取大塊老礦綠松石整料雕琢而成。通體飽滿濃郁的碧綠色澤，網紋疏密自然流轉，是綠松石獨有的原生肌理。器物呈優雅的弧彎造型，契合頸部曲度，為古代專用寢具。
綠松石在明代屬珍貴寶石，備受貴族珍視。以大塊完整松石原石雕琢成枕，耗料甚巨，存世極為罕見。歷經數百年歲月，石體包漿渾厚溫潤，風化痕迹自然老道，沉淀濃厚的時代滄桑感。
既可陳設於博古架，作高古珍玩觀賞；亦可作為古代生活用器的實物標本，兼具歷史研究、藝術觀賞與收藏價值，是十分難得的明代寶石類舊藏。
This curved pillow is a precious antique artefact from the Ming Dynasty, carved from a large piece of natural old‑mine turquoise. It features rich emerald‑green colour with natural intricate black matrix veins spreading across the surface. The ergonomic curved form was designed for neck support in ancient times, decorated with subtle antique‑style shallow carvings.
Turquoise was a highly‑treasured gemstone in Ming China. Carving a whole pillow out of solid turquoise demanded massive raw material, making surviving examples extremely scarce.
A remarkable display piece for antique collection, it delivers great historical, aesthetic and collectible value for gem‑stone and antique connoisseurs.
